Verizon Phone Help?

OK, so i have the chocolate 2 and i got it 3 months ago. April 1st to be exact and its a great phone. but 2 days ago something screwy happened. when i took the headphones out of my phone, no music came out. thats when i noticed that no music or sound resonates from my phone. the only noise it makes is the ringtone. and when people call me, i can't hear them. and i can't call people because i can't hear the dial tone. i bought the phone from best buy and don't know what to do. i am gonna go back there, but i don't know my options. can i get same phone again with the same contract, or can i get an ultimately new phone with the same contract, or can i not do either of those. please help. PLEASE
