Is this a good workout plan?

no it's not. sit ups only work so much. if you really want a core workout, you need to concentrate on larger muscle groups. i say that b/c you utilize your core in everything you do, so a large muscle group (lifting something from the ground for example) will do a lot more than just a sit up. you burn more body fat working larger muscle groups. this doesn't mean lift heavy, it just means lift. the secret to a six pack is actually not working on your abs. you can look this up anywhere, all personal/fitness trainers and nutritionist will tell you this. also, your body will eventually get used to that workout, and you'll see a little change at first but then there won't be any. if you want a decent workout plan, look up the lance armstrong workouts. many of them can be done by beginers
