If you get a traffic ticket in Ct., must the ticket be legible in order to convict you?

I got a moving violation from a state trooper. The only thing you can read is the fine amount which, the trooper wrote very clearly. All other information is barely readable. Might this be a technicality to get the ticket nolled?
