Chase credit card has garnisheed our checking acct for a credit card debt of 6,000 This debt goes back to 2004?

to 2004. Our dgt used our credit card, she can't pay it & we are on fixed income. I called the credit card co & they have no mercy, said if I paid it off by 2/28, they would withdraw garnishee. we have no savings, is there anything we can do so they will leawe our bank acct alone? they have already taken my SS check that I pay the house payment with & tomorrow they will take my husband"s. This is the only money we have to pay bills each month. any suggestions? We have no other credit cards. HELP, Thank you!! Wanda
