I have a question on "Schindler List"?
Schindler himself, the main character desires redemption. He did all he could to disociate himself with the deeds of his counterparts. He helped the Jews and gave up most of what he had to do so. The last scene is the perfect depiction of this where he breaks down and cries disgusted at himself for not doing more. He states that he could have saved ten more people by just selling his car and could have save three more people by just selling his Nazi lapel pin which was made of gold. He clearly had a disgust for his people and himself for his being part of a population that would inflict such suffering.
