The thing with Docs is you have to be confident in them. I know it sounds lame but it really does make all the difference in whether you come off looking awkward or bold. TCS may be having such rule. It doesnt mean other IT companies will also have same rule. So, dont loose your heart...and keep trying and there should be some companies which should not have problem with it....or rather they may accept based on your performance and consider you as an exceptional case. So, keep trying and if you get in some small IT company at the begining and then later try for bigger company...so once you have experience they may not consider it as an obstacle...
