I think that i might have ADHD but looking for another opinion?

im 16 and i have for as far back as i can remember i have had trouble paying attention in school. I Try to convince myself to pay attention, but i find myself losing my concentration in less then a minute. I can pay attention then get distracted for a minute then go back repeatedly, i can continue like this for an entire cl. i am easily distracted, by things as small as a Clicking pen or a pencil sharpener. i have trouble focusing on doing homework, and i focus on study. Im just looking for some opinions, and maybe some suggestions how to bring the topic up to my parents.
