What kind of dogs won't eat my chickens?

ok so i really really want a dog... we've tried a lot of times but they always end up going nuts and killing my birds... one ate my pheasant and i was devastated for days, we live on a farm. I've been looking into bulldogs, they seem great but they have a lot of health problems. so, please help
